Salary: $39.50 per hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Technician - Electrical Expertise to join our team. This role involves performing various maintenance, repair, and installation tasks, including electrical systems, fire alarm systems, and general construction work. The ideal candidate will have experience working in challenging environments such as extreme heights and confined spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement electrical/construction project layouts, including cost estimates and materials planning.
• Perform complex electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs independently.
• Conduct general maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, and masonry work.
• Install and maintain fire alarm systems in compliance with NFPA codes and safety regulations.
• Perform outdoor property maintenance such as snow removal and emergency repairs.
• Operate heavy equipment, including trucks (over 26,001 lbs), backhoes, loaders, and hand tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and workplace safety protocols when working in extreme heights or confined spaces.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Licensed Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician certification (minimum 1 year experience required; 3 years preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building trades, including electrical systems.
• Proven ability to read blueprints, follow instructions, and work independently.
• Must hold a valid Rhode Island Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Ability to obtain Limited License B Hoisting Engineer License within 6 months of hire.
• OSHA 10 Certification (Rhode Island) preferred.
• Strong understanding of fire alarm system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
• Ability to work in extreme heights using fall protection equipment.
• Capable of performing tasks in confined spaces following OSHA standards.
• Frequent lifting of 30 lbs. and occasional lifting of 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Willingness to work in challenging conditions such as confined spaces, noisy environments, and extreme weather conditions.
• May be required to respond to emergency calls outside regular working hours.
